Welcome to the page dedicated to Open Government monitoring. Here, you can follow updates on the implementation of the actions and commitments included in Italy’s 6th National Action Plan for Open Government (6NAP).

This evolving page has been created to support civic monitoring of the activities undertaken to advance Open Government in Italy and to provide a closer view of the implementation of the current National Action Plan.

By joining the Open Government Partnership (OGP), governments commit to implementing the commitments set out in their Action Plans and to monitoring and evaluating progress in accordance with the guidance provided in the OGP National Handbook – Rules and Guidance for Participants (2024).

Monitoring the implementation of the 6NAP, which began in July 2024, is based on the active participation of the working groups responsible for each commitment. These groups bring together representatives of public administrations (PAs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), reflecting the principle of shared responsibility that guided the development of the Plan.

Each working group appoints a focal point responsible for providing the information required to assess implementation progress for the relevant commitment.

This page enables users to view, explore, and assess progress in implementing the current Action Plan.

Stay informed about ongoing activities and check this page regularly for further updates.

6NAP evaluation reports

During the implementation of the 6NAP, five progress reports and a final evaluation report will be produced according to the following schedule:

The reports are available on this page and provide information on the implementation progress of the commitments, drawing on the indicators identified as suitable for assessing the results achieved.
